Desperate Search for Nancy Guthrie Continues as Investigators Uncover New Leads
New Video Footage Released
The FBI has released a description of a person seen on Nancy Guthrie's Nest home security camera on the morning of her disappearance. The individual is described as a male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with an average build and wearing a ski mask, gloves, and a black Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack. This backpack is sold exclusively at Walmart, and investigators have reviewed video footage from one location in Tucson.
DNA Testing on Gloves
In addition to the new video footage, investigators have found a pair of black gloves that are being tested for DNA. Sources close to the investigation confirm that the gloves have been sent out for testing, and images from the New York Post show investigators picking up one of the gloves, which was reportedly recovered from the side of a road about a mile and a half from Guthrie's home.
Reward Doubled
The FBI has doubled its reward to up to $100,000 for information leading to Nancy Guthrie's location or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance. Guthrie was also added to the bureau's list of most wanted missing persons.
Community Rallies Around Guthrie Family
