BISI THE FOODIE Chapter 1 The Adeyemo Family Once upon a time, in a certain city, there lived a family called the Adeyemo Family. Mr Segun Adeyemo and Mrs Bola Adeyemo had been married for a total of five years and they had not received the gift of God, a child. Mr Segun's mother and father had been pressurising him to get married to another woman, they brought him many beautiful young ladies but Mr Segun never agreed. When they saw that their son never agreed to their pressure, Mr Segun's mother began giving Mrs Bola herbs and traditional remedies for the aim of her getting pregnant faster but Mrs Bola did not agree and told her that God's time is always the best. Mr Segun's parents always abused her for being barren. Then Mr Segun and Mrs Bola always went to the doctor and the doctor always told them that they were medically okay. Then rumours started spreading. When Mrs Bola was a kid, she was known as a foodie. She could eat anything. But, when she grew up, she had learnt how to let go of the past but it looks like the past had come to haunt her. People always whispered to themselves saying," Maybe she had eaten something that damaged her womb so she can't give birth." Some would also say," Maybe because of food, a man was able to use her for ritual." Mrs Bola cried and prayed to God for help. She also went to her pastor. Her joy began when she was tested positive on April and she gave birth to a girl on Christmas Day, December 25. Mrs Bola named the girl Bisi. Some people still whispered to themselves saying," I hope her child won't grow up to be a foodie." Mr Segun and Mrs Bola showered Bisi with so much love because she was the only child. But 3 years later, Mrs Bola gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl. Watch out for chapter 2. #Loveforfood
