BISI THE FOODIE Chapter 5 BISI'S MISTAKE But her happiness was short lived. Bisi was tired of using the red soap because it had an awkward and awful smell. So she secretly bought another soap. So on this fateful day, her mother had escorted her to her room to ensure that she had a bath but her mother won't enter the bathroom with her. So she entered and bathed with the other soap and came out. Mrs Bola: Dress up quickly and go to the market Bisi: Yes ma Then her mother excused her. But, Bisi never knew the danger she was putting herself in. She got dressed and went out. On her way to the market, she saw a poster that said" Need a job, then dial the number below and don't worry, all needs will be fulfilled. And I could use the money for myself. Then she smiled to herself and dialled the number, to her surprise, it was a woman and she got the location and went there. When she got there, she saw an uncompleted building far ahead covered by bushes. The place she was, was a lonely road, you could only see two people each time. People never dared to walk alone. She thought she was at a wrong location so she called the number again. Female Voice: Come towards the uncompleted building. My house is just on the other side. Bisi was a little scared to go through the bushes. Bisi: Is there no other way than going through the bushes. Female Voice: ( Shouting) No! Come through the bushes. It's a short cut. Bisi was scared. So she wanted to turn back and run cause there was nobody around. As she was about to turn back, she became unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself in the uncompleted building she had seen. All around her were other girls and the other building was where boys were kept. She was surprised to see her family pastor. She was all tied up and bounded in the mouth. Then a female figure appeared. Female: You think you can escape, you brat, right? Bisi struggled to talk. She couldn't find her phone. They had taken it. She had been kidnapped. 2 hours later, her mother started looking for her everywhere, she went to the shop that she had sent Bisi to, but, the woman said she hadn't seen her. No one had seen her. Mrs Bola cried and cried. When she went home, she explained to her husband amidst tears. Taiwo and Kehinde weren't happy about their sister's disappearance. Mrs Bola didn't eat for that day. The next day, they got a call from an unknown number. Female Voice: Hello, am I speaking to Mrs Bola? Mrs Bola: Yes, please who is this? Female Voice: You don't need to know. To save your daughter, Bisi, you need to be able to come with a sum of 500 million Naira within 3 days or else your daughter dies. Mrs Bola: Where..... Then the call was hanged up. The rest of the family who were listening burst into tears. Then Mrs Bola remembers something. Mrs Bola: We need to go to the police Mr Segun: Why? Mrs Bola: I always put Bisi's phone settings on find my phone so we can track it down. They went to the police. The police took the case seriously and tracked Bisi's phone and they got the location and they wrote it down.
