The Sunday Circle – Topic
Topic of the week: Does the U.S. Currently Have Any True Black Leaders?

The United States claims to have black leaders across politics, science, and social justice, including Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson, Maryland Governor Wes Moore, voting rights activist Stacey Abrams, and NASA astronaut Victor Glover. These figures are supposed to drive change in civil rights, technology, and representation.

But, unlike King and X, are they simply pacifiers design to keep us subdued in the slumber of white derangement supremacy? Can you name one black popular leader who can galvanize most Black Americans to true liberation?

We are looking forward to hearing your opinion.

We are on the cusp of what is likely to be a challenging few years for many individuals. Numerous changes are forthcoming that will adversely impact us, particularly the black community. To navigate this unavoidable adversity, it is essential that we unite and provide support to one another.

We invite you to participate in The Circle, a support group for the black community, every Sunday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 am EST. This gathering offers a space to discuss issues pertinent to the black experience, express frustrations, and receive valuable guidance from peers.
